The President of the Republic of Algeria, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, ordered yesterday, Sunday, while chairing a meeting of the Council of Ministers, the acceleration of the launch of various workshops for the Laghouat–Ghardaïa–El Meniaa railway construction project in its first section, highlighting its strategic nature with multiple economic dimensions and the economic dynamism and new job creation it provides, according to a statement issued by the Council of Ministers.
The statement explained that "the President ordered the acceleration of the launch of various workshops for this strategic project, which carries multiple economic dimensions, given the economic dynamism and new job creation it provides."
The President of the Republic also ordered the connection of Hassi Messaoud to this line, "in view of the resulting reduction in costs and distances, as well as the increase in Algeria's exports from the production of the new Hassi Messaoud refinery, which will enter service shortly."
