The Federal Bureau of the Algerian Football Federation (FAF) has tasked the National Technical Director (DTN) with convening an extraordinary session of the National Technical College as soon as possible to help evaluate the performance and trajectory of the senior national team, according to a statement released by the federation.
The statement, issued following the Federal Bureau’s ordinary session held on Saturday under the chairmanship of FAF President Walid Sadi, clarified that "this initiative is rooted in consultation, expertise, and in-depth technical analysis. It aims to enable the National Technical College to formulate the recommendations it deems necessary, acting solely in the supreme interest of the national team and Algerian football."
The federation further added: "Upon the conclusion of the ongoing evaluation, the Federal Bureau will take the necessary decisions with full transparency, objectivity, and in strict compliance with its responsibilities, guided solely by the best interests of Algerian football."
"Faithful to its commitment, the Bureau will resolutely pursue the implementation of its development project to guarantee all national teams the optimal conditions for preparation, performance, and success, while consolidating the foundations of a modern, competitive, and sustainable national football system."
The FAF reiterated that building a highly competitive national team is a long-term process requiring immense effort, patience, and stability, coupled with a strategic vision and continuity in action. "The world's greatest footballing nations have built their successes on consistency, rigor, and unwavering faith in their sporting projects," the statement noted.
The federation called upon all stakeholders within the Algerian football family leagues, clubs, players, coaches, referees, officials, media, partners, and fans, to preserve unity, serenity, and a spirit of responsibility. "The challenges ahead for Algerian football can only be overcome in a climate of trust, stability, and collective mobilization," the FAF emphasized.
Finally, the FAF expressed its profound gratitude to the Algerian people and to the national team's supporters, both in Algeria and abroad, for their loyalty, patience, and unwavering support, describing it as a constant source of motivation for the entire Algerian football community.
