The Minister of Foreign Trade and Export Promotion, Kamel Rezig, received the Chief Executive Officer of Huawei Algeria, Tony Shi Xiaohua, yesterday, Wednesday, in Algiers, to discuss ways to strengthen cooperation in digital transformation and the development of digital services related to foreign trade, the ministry said in a statement.
The meeting, which took place in the presence of company executives, provided an opportunity to learn about the Huawei group's expertise in the field of digitization and modern technologies, as well as to review the digital solutions it develops for various sectors.
The two parties also explored opportunities to leverage the digital solutions developed by Huawei to support the ministry's efforts to modernize administration, boost the efficiency of digital platforms, and improve the quality of services provided to economic operators, the same source added.
