On behalf of the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, the President of the Council of the Nation, Mr. Azouz Nasri, signed the condolence book on Wednesday at the headquarters of the Embassy of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela in Algeria, following the earthquake that struck the country on June 24, resulting in casualties.
"It is with deep sadness and profound emotion that I convey to you, on behalf of the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, the Algerian Government, and on my own behalf, our most sincere condolences and full solidarity with the friendly Venezuelan people, following the violent earthquake that struck your friendly country, causing loss of life and significant material damage," he wrote in the condolence message.
"In this painful ordeal, I express our deepest compassion to the families of the victims during this difficult time, as well as our wishes for a speedy recovery to the injured," Mr. Nasri added. "Please accept the assurances of my highest consideration and deep respect," he concluded.
