The Government of the Republic of Mali has decided on the return of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Mali to Algeria to Algiers, and the reopening of Malian airspace to all civil and military aircraft ensuring flights coming from or heading to Algeria, according to what was stated this Friday in a statement by the Malian transitional government.
The statement read: "Within the framework of restoring dynamism to the relations of cooperation and friendship between the Republic of Mali and the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria, the Government of the Republic of Mali has decided on the return of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Mali to Algeria to Algiers."
It also decided, according to the same statement, to "reopen Malian airspace to all civil and military aircraft ensuring flights coming from or heading to Algeria."
