The Minister of Public Works and Basic Infrastructure, Mr. Abdelkader Djellaoui, chaired this Saturday a coordination meeting dedicated to following up on the progress of a number of strategic projects currently under completion, according to a statement from the Ministry.
The meeting, which took place at the Ministry's headquarters in the presence of the Directors General of the National Agency for Studies and Follow-up of the Realization of Railway Investments, the National Agency for the Realization of Port Infrastructures, and the National Corporation for Infrastructure Studies, in addition to a representative of Algerian Highways, centered around the status of projects currently being executed in the fields of highways, railways, and port infrastructures, alongside reviewing future prospects for infrastructure development.
On this occasion, the Minister emphasized the need to ensure continuous field follow-up of the various projects and to respect the approved technical and engineering standards in completion, while ensuring commitment to completion deadlines so as to guarantee the delivery of projects on their specified dates, according to the same source.
