The President of the Algerian Council of the Nation in Doha to Offer Condolences Following the Passing of Emir Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani

Commissioned by the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, the President of the Council of the Nation, Mr. Azouz Nasri, arrived Tuesday evening in Doha, Qatar, to offer condolences to His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of the brotherly State of Qatar, following the passing of his father, Emir Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, according to a statement from the Council.

"Mr. Nasri is accompanied by the Minister of Interior, Local Authorities, and Transport, Mr. Saïd Sayoud; the Secretary General of the Ministry of National Defense, Major General Mohamed Salah Benbicha; the Chief of Staff of the President of the Council of the Nation, Professor Makhlouf Sahel; and the Acting Director of the Arab Mashreq and the Arab League at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad, and African Affairs, Mr. Ihsane Naouk," the statement specifies.

Upon arrival at Doha Airport, the Algerian delegation was received by the Ambassador of Algeria to the State of Qatar, Mr. Salah Attia, accompanied by Minister-Counselor Mr. Amirouche Rakkah, Embassy Counselors Mr. Fouad Bouakal, Mr. Ahmed Kahria, and Mr. Athmane Bibane, as well as the Head of the Consular Section, Mr. Samy Brahimi, and the Deputy Head of the Consular Section, Mr. Djamel Belkacemi, the statement concluded.
