The High Authority for Transparency, Prevention, and the Fight Against Corruption (HATPLC) honored on Tuesday the graduates of the first class of the Master’s program in "Transparency and the Fight Against Corruption" from the "Didouche Mourad" University of Continuing Education (UFC), according to a university statement.
This initiative, which took place during the closing ceremony of the summer university at the Tipaza university pole, constitutes "a symbolic gesture testifying to the importance placed on encouraging academic skills in the fields of governance and integrity," the source specified.
During the ceremony—presided over by Mohamed Djellaoui, a member of HATPLC representing the Authority’s President, Salima Mousserati, alongside the Director of "Didouche Mourad" UFC, Yahia Djaâfri—the top-ranking graduates were honored as "pioneers of transparency" in recognition of their academic excellence and their status as the first graduates of this specialty launched by the UFC.
This distinction marks "the culmination of the first academic experience of the Master’s in 'Transparency and the Fight Against Corruption' at the UFC, reflecting the existing partnership between the university and HATPLC. This partnership aims to train specialized university experts capable of spreading a culture of integrity and transparency and embedding the principles of good governance within various institutions," the statement added.
It also affirms "the leading role the UFC now plays in creating academic specialties that meet the State’s priorities and are adapted to development requirements, through the training of qualified cadres capable of contributing to the building of more transparent institutions," the source concluded.
