The Director General of Customs, Major General Abdelhafid Bakhouche, began a working visit to the Libyan capital, Tripoli, accompanied by a delegation of senior officials from the General Directorate of Customs, in order to strengthen customs cooperation and coordination between Algeria and Libya, according to a statement by the General Directorate of Customs today, Tuesday.
Upon its arrival yesterday, Monday, in Tripoli, the Algerian delegation was received by the Director General of the Libyan Customs Authority, alongside a number of the authority's officials and executives.
The same source explained that this visit falls within the framework of embodying the shared determination of the two fraternal countries aimed at enhancing relations of cooperation and coordination between the Algerian General Directorate of Customs and the Libyan Customs Authority. It also aims to exchange expertise and experiences, thereby contributing to the development of customs operations and elevating the level of bilateral cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
