Minister of Interior, Local Authorities, and Transport, Mr. Saïd Sayoud, supervised today, Thursday, the installation of Mr. Kamel Eddine Kerbouche as the new Wali of Constantine, succeeding Mr. Abdelkhalek Sayouda.
In his address during the installation ceremony held at the Constantine provincial headquarters, Mr. Sayoud explained that appointing the new Wali "reflects the keenness of the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, for close monitoring of local affairs, continuous evaluation of local officials' performance, and anchoring efficiency in public management to keep serving citizens at the heart of public authorities' priorities."
He also highlighted "the historical and strategic status held by the wilaya of Constantine and the special attention it receives within the President's development vision," pointing to the major projects launched in the wilaya, which represent "a true lever for boosting development and improving the living conditions of citizens."
Furthermore, Mr. Sayoud called on the new Wali to "engage in relentless field work, ensure strict implementation of the President's directives, accelerate the execution of projects, eliminate obstacles, and strengthen coordination across various sectors to guarantee improved public services and effectively address citizen concerns."
