An artistic and literary caravan titled "Poets of the Two Shores" (Poètes des deux rives), celebrating cultural exchanges between Algeria and Italy, will be held from January 15 to 20 in Algiers, Tlemcen, and Sidi Bel-Abbès, the Algerian Agency for Cultural Outreach (AARC) has announced.
Organized in partnership with the Italian Cultural Institute in Algiers and in collaboration with the Culture and Arts Directorates of the Tlemcen and Sidi Bel-Abbès wilayas, the caravan will feature readings by Algerian and Italian poets, a musical performance, and a lecture on poetry led by writer Amal Bouchareb.
Poets Lamis Saidi and Khaled Ben Saleh (Algeria), alongside Flaminia Cruciani and Emilio Nigro (Italy), will read poems in both Arabic and Italian. According to the event program, the activities will take place at the Abdelkrim Dali Palace of Culture in Tlemcen, the Mohamed Kabati Central Library in Sidi Bel-Abbès, and the Dar Abd-el-Tif Villa in Algiers.
