The High Commissioner for Digitization with the rank of Minister, Mrs. Meriem Benmouloud, proceeded on Monday at the Abdelatif-Rahal International Conference Center (CIC) in Algiers to the installation of the national commission charged with monitoring the implementation of the national data governance mechanism, composed of representatives from all ministerial departments and national bodies.
This commission was installed during the official launch ceremony of the national data governance mechanism, presided over by Prime Minister Mr. Sifi Ghrieb, under the high patronage of the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, under the slogan "National Data Governance Mechanism: Sovereignty, Organization, and Transparency."
Speaking on this occasion, Mrs. Benmouloud specified that the installation of this commission "comes within the framework of the implementation of instructions given by the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, during the Council of Ministers meeting held last December 11."
This commission is charged with "the daily updating of data" and "monitoring the implementation of the national data governance mechanism," she emphasized.
As part of the official launch of this mechanism, three training workshops focusing on themes related to digitization are being organized until tomorrow, Tuesday.
