On Saturday, Iran retaliated against US-Zionist strikes targeting its territory with missile salvos aimed at targets and facilities within the Zionist entity.
In a statement, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps announced the launch of a "vast wave" of missile and drone attacks against the Zionist entity in response to the US-Zionist strikes on Iran.
Iranian television announced that "Iranian armed forces are targeting American forces in the region."
Meanwhile, the Iranian news agency IRNA, citing Hossein Kermanpour, spokesman for the Ministry of Health and Medical Education, reported that "all hospitals in the country are on alert." He added that "rescue teams have been deployed to explosion sites to assist those affected."
Earlier in the day, the capital, Tehran, and other Iranian cities were shaken by explosions following American and Zionist strikes targeting several sites, including Isfahan, Tabriz, Karaj, and Qom.
