Zamalek SC has received the green light from Egyptian authorities for the presence of 46,000 fans at the second leg of the CAF Confederation Cup final on Saturday, May 16, against USM Alger at the Cairo International Stadium (7:00 p.m., Algerian time), local media reported this Sunday.

The organizers have also reserved a quota of 2,000 tickets for USMA fans, the same source specified.

During the first leg, played on Saturday evening at the 5 July Olympic Stadium in Algiers, USMA secured a 1-0 victory thanks to a penalty converted by Ahmed Khaldi in stoppage time (90'+7).

USMA qualified for the final by eliminating Morocco's Olympique Safi (first leg: 0-0, second leg: 1-1), while Zamalek SC overcame the hurdle of the other Algerian representative, CR Belouizdad (first leg: 1-0, second leg: 0-0).

The winner of this edition will pocket a prize of $4 million, while the runner-up will receive half that amount ($2 million).
