The Algerian women's national football team defeated its Zambian counterpart 1-0 on Wednesday at the Mustapha Tchaker Stadium in Blida, in their second preparation match for the 14th edition of the Women's Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON 2026), scheduled to take place from July 25 to August 16 in Morocco.
After playing to a draw in their first friendly match last Sunday, Farid Benstiti's squad managed to secure a narrow victory this time around, thanks to a goal scored by Nouhad Naili in the 83rd minute.
