Attaf Receives a Phone Call from His French Counterpart

The Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad, and African Affairs, Mr. Ahmed Attaf, received a phone call on March 15th from his French counterpart, the Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Mr. Jean-Noël Barrot.

During the call, the two ministers reviewed the state of bilateral relations and the prospects available to them.

They also exchanged views on the situation in the Sahel-Saharan region, as well as developments concerning the settlement process of the Western Sahara issue. Furthermore, the ministers addressed the grave developments in the Middle East and their serious regional and international consequences.

In this context, particular focus was placed on the situation in Lebanon, representing a significant shared concern for both countries.
