More than 12,600 individuals and 3,345 families have been displaced in the Akkar Governorate in northern Lebanon since the beginning of the intensification of the Zionist aggression on March 2. The Disaster and Crisis Management Cell announced these figures in its daily report released this Tuesday.

“According to information provided by the operational cell of municipal units and social affairs representatives in shelter centers, the total number of displaced persons registered in the Akkar Governorate as of 6:00 PM has reached 3,345 families and 12,670 individuals. They are distributed between official shelter centers and host communities across various towns in the governorate,” as reported by the National News Agency (NNA).

The report mentions that within approved shelters, the number of displaced families is 345, totaling 1,295 individuals. Furthermore, 3,000 families and 11,375 displaced persons have been recorded outside of these shelters and refuges, the report continues.
