The first National Forum of the Youth Leadership Qualification Program witnessed the coaching of 1,000 young project holders across various sectors. In an event concluding this Saturday, participants are benefiting from specialized guidance and practical support aimed at turning their ideas into reality.
Abdelkrim Messaoudi, the program official, stated to the Algeria Press Service (APS) that this forum represents the culmination of the first phase of the "DZ Youth Leaders" project, which consists of three integrated tracks. Each track trains 1,000 young leaders over four months, ending with a national forum to showcase results and exchange expertise.
Messaoudi emphasized that this program is one of the most prominent national initiatives aimed at structuring and qualifying Algerian youth across the various Wilayas of the country. He noted that the project attracts young talents, providing them with guidance for projects that have a sustainable social and economic impact.
Over 75,000 Algerian Youth Registered
According to Messaoudi, more than 75,000 Algerian youths, accompanied by their working teams, registered for the program. Each project leader guides at least ten other young people, reflecting the vitality of the initiative. More than 5,000 participants were able to prepare roadmaps for real community projects in fields such as health, environment, tourism, and solidarity.
Out of these initiatives, 1,000 projects were selected to receive in-depth support for a full year across the program’s three tracks, with the goal of transforming them into executable projects on the ground.
Several participants expressed great optimism about the success of this initiative, confirming that the forum provides a real opportunity to develop their projects. They praised the practical workshops and training sessions led by experts and specialists.
Fouad Taleb Messaâdi, a digital radio project owner from the Wilaya of El Bayadh, stated that he benefited from meeting specialists, which allowed him to gain practical knowledge and advice to implement his project with a clear vision. Khali Letamat, who is developing a waste recycling project in Illizi, highlighted his better understanding of the mechanisms for turning environmental ideas into real economic ventures, praising the quality of the coaching.
From the Wilaya of Blida, Sara Khattab, who is leading an orphan care project, considered the program a genuine opportunity to strengthen the human dimension of youth initiatives. She noted that the training sessions helped her refine her vision and define strategic goals for her project.
The forum's agenda includes training sessions and practical workshops, such as "Strategic Personal Planning," focusing on tools for building personal and professional paths, and "Vision Crafting and Building Strategic Personal Goals." These sessions aim to empower participants to transform their ideas into actionable visions and large-scale community projects, discovering the "Dream Bank" and how personal missions relate to future projects.
This forum underscores the growing trend toward empowering Algerian youth and providing them with the necessary tools for innovation, enhancing their role as essential partners in national development and building a future based on innovation and collective action.
