Death of Former Minister and Member of the Council of the Nation, Chems Eddine Chitour

Former Minister and member of the Council of the Nation within the presidential third, Chems Eddine Chitour, has passed away, the Council of the Nation announced this Sunday.

The late Professor, born in 1944, served as Minister of Energy Transition and Renewable Energies from June 2020 to July 2021. Prior to that, he held the position of Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research from January 2020 to June of the same year.
