The Algerian Investment Promotion Agency (AAPI) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Thursday in Algiers with the National Agency for Investments and Exports (ANIE) of the Republic of Chad. This agreement serves as a practical framework for cooperation in promoting, facilitating, and supporting investments in both countries, as part of strengthening economic relations between Algeria and Chad.

According to a statement from the Algerian Investment Promotion Agency, the signing ceremony was conducted by the Agency's General Manager, Omar Rekkache, and the General Manager of the Chadian Agency, Soubdibé Soubkicka Liliane, on the sidelines of the 4th session of the Joint Intergovernmental Commission.

Under this MoU, both parties will exchange economic, legal, and regulatory information applicable to investment. The agreement also aims to enhance the exchange of expertise and best practices regarding investment attractiveness and follow-up, while promoting the joint organization of economic forums, exploration missions, business visits, and bilateral (B2B) meetings.

Furthermore, both agencies will facilitate communication between investors, companies, and professional organizations in the two countries. They will implement coordinated communication and promotion actions to increase the visibility of investment opportunities and highlight high-potential strategic sectors in both Algeria and Chad.

This MoU reflects a shared will to elevate economic cooperation between the two nations by providing a more attractive, transparent, and competitive business environment.
