Launch of the 1st Edition of the "Media Rally" From Tipaza

The 1st edition of the "Media Rally" was launched on Sunday from the wilaya of Tipaza, as part of an event combining sports and media, marked by the presence of numerous professionals and key figures from the sporting and media sectors.

The kickoff for this sporting event was given by the Wali of Tipaza, Mohamed Amine Benchaoulia.

The event is organized by the Algerian Federation of Mechanical Sports in coordination with the local Youth and Sports Directorate.

Running until April 28, the "Media Rally" covers a distance of 1,700 km starting from Tipaza. The caravan will notably pass through Brezina (southeast of the wilaya of El Bayadh), Saida, and Mascara, before reaching the finish line in Algiers.

According to the organizers, this event aims to promote a culture of road safety and encourage prudent driving, while highlighting the tourism potential and natural landscapes found across the various regions of the country along the rally route.

This sporting and media event is also intended to strengthen communication bridges between various stakeholders, while providing journalists with a space to relax and alleviate the pressure associated with their profession through an immersion into the heart of Algeria.
