Indonesian Dimas Nur Fadhil Rizqi of the Jakarta Pro Cycling Team won the 2026 Tour of Algeria cycling race this Sunday. His victory was confirmed following the 10th and final stage, contested between Algiers and Tizi Ouzou (107 km), which saw Belgian Yorben Lauryssen cross the finish line first in 2 hours, 53 minutes, and 45 seconds.
After ten exceptional stages during which the Tour caravan crossed Western and Central Algeria over nearly 1,700 km, the TAC 2026 reached its verdict with the final victory of the Indonesian rider, Rizqi.
This crowning achievement took shape the previous day during the 9th stage, where the results completely upended the hierarchy of this latest edition of the Algerian cycling adventure.
Indeed, while everything seemed to indicate that the Belgian Lauryssen—who had achieved the feat of holding the leader's yellow jersey for eight long stages, from the first to the eighth—would add his name to the list of TAC winners, luck changed sides. The TAC chose its champion atop Mount Chrea (Blida).
Consequently, the highly coveted golden jersey ended up on the shoulders of the Indonesian Rizqi, who finished at the top of the general classification, succeeding Algerian Hamza Amari (Madar Pro Cycling Team).
In addition to his prestigious yellow jersey and a head full of memories, the young Rizqi (19 years old) will head home with the white jersey, awarded to the best young rider (U23).
