The Minister of Industry, Mr. Yahia Bachir, received yesterday, Thursday, at the ministry's headquarters, a delegation from the Russian Federation headed by the Minister of the Moscow City Government and Head of the Department for External Economic and International Relations, Mr. Sergey Cheryomin. According to a ministry statement, both parties discussed ways to deepen cooperation and establish joint industrial projects.
The same source explained that this meeting, which took place in the presence of the Russian Ambassador to Algeria, Mr. Alexey Solomatin, and an accompanying delegation of several officials, falls within the framework of a working visit aimed at "strengthening bilateral cooperation relations between Algeria and the Russian Federation, as well as exploring fruitful partnership opportunities in industrial and economic fields of mutual interest."
The meeting also provided an opportunity to discuss ways to deepen this cooperation through the exchange of expertise, the encouragement of investments, and the establishment of joint projects with high added value, the statement added.
