The second day of the Algerian Products and Services Fair in Nouakchott was marked by the visit of several ambassadors accredited to Mauritania representing Arab and European countries, demonstrating the international interest in Algeria's production and service capacities, a press release from the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Export Promotion stated on Wednesday.
The diplomatic delegation toured the various pavilions of the Fair, organized from May 5 to 11, where they were able to discover the diversity and richness of the exhibited products. These covered the agri-food, pharmaceutical, building materials, and health services sectors, in addition to a notable presence of startups offering innovative solutions.
The diplomats expressed their admiration for the level of organization and the quality of the products, praising the evolution of industry and services in Algeria, as well as their growing ability to access international markets.
In this regard, they reaffirmed their countries' willingness to strengthen economic and trade cooperation with Algeria and to explore opportunities for partnership and joint investment, thanks to the new business climate.
This visit falls within the framework of the economic dynamic characterizing this exhibition, which aims to expand the network of commercial relations for Algerian operators and open up new export prospects to consolidate Algeria's position as a regional and continental economic player, the press release specified.
The event, which is recording a record participation of over 350 companies operating across various sectors, continues to generate widespread interest among economic actors, cementing its success as a strategic platform for promoting Algerian products and strengthening multilateral partnerships.
