On the sidelines of the eighth edition of the Algerian Products and Services Exhibition in the Mauritanian capital, Nouakchott, the Mauritanian Minister of Commerce and Tourism, Ms. Zeineb Bint Ahmednah, received in her office the delegation from the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Export Promotion, accompanied by the Ambassador of Algeria to Mauritania, Mr. Amine Sid.
The meeting was devoted to discussing the current state and prospects of trade relations between the two fraternal countries, particularly in light of the recently signed bilateral agreements, as well as ways to enhance economic cooperation and increase the volume of trade exchange to serve the interests of both countries.
The importance of the exhibition in opening new horizons for partnership and communication between Algerian economic actors and their Mauritanian counterparts was also discussed, given the extensive Algerian participation and the significant diversity of the sectors represented.
For its part, the Algerian ministerial delegation expressed its thanks and gratitude for the warm reception, praising the facilities and care provided by the Mauritanian authorities to ensure the success of this economic event and to strengthen bilateral cooperation between Algeria and Mauritania.
