A technical team from the National Company of Public Works (SNTP) has traveled to Chad to complete preparations for the construction project of two sections of the Trans-Saharan Road, the Ministry of Public Works and Basic Infrastructure announced on Sunday.
According to the statement, "as part of a series of technical missions in the Republic of Chad, a technical team of executives from SNTP joined the topography unit at the site of the road project linking Ngouri and Bol (Tchad) within the Trans-Saharan Road project, during the period from May 20 to May 23, 2026."
This mission, the third of its kind for a technical team from the public works and basic infrastructure sector, aims to "finalize the technical and logistical preparations necessary for the project's implementation, in accordance with the instructions of the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, aimed at strengthening bilateral cooperation mechanisms between the two countries, particularly in the field of public works and basic infrastructure, through field follow-up and the realization of strategic projects with an African dimension," the statement added.
