A framework agreement was signed on Monday in Algiers between the Ministry of Energy and Renewable Energies and the Ministry of Vocational Training and Education, aimed at strengthening cooperation and coordination, particularly regarding the updating of the National Repository of Training and Skills (RNFC).
The agreement was signed by the Minister of Energy and Renewable Energies, Mourad Adjal, and the Minister of Vocational Training and Education, Nacima Arhab, following a working meeting held at the headquarters of the Ministry of Energy and Renewable Energies, in the presence of executives from both ministries. This falls "within the framework of implementing the directives of the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, aimed at strengthening coordination between government sectors and optimizing joint work mechanisms," the same source added.
It defines the mechanisms for the contribution of the energy and renewable energies sector to the updating of the RNFC, a comprehensive digital platform bringing together all existing specialties in the vocational training system in Algeria, for the benefit of learners and employing organizations.
This approach aims to adapt the training system to the needs of the national labor market in order to support the development of human resources and develop national skills, according to the press release.
In this context, Ms. Arhab emphasized the importance of adopting a precise national skills repository, based on updated data concerning the needs of the national economy, as well as the establishment of a national mapping of structuring projects, so as to improve the employability of young people and their professional integration.
For his part, Mr. Adjal expressed great interest in his sector's participation in this national project, emphasizing that its success requires the involvement of various economic operators active in the Algerian market, led by the Sonelgaz group, which has proven experience in training through its specialized schools and centers distributed across the different wilayas of the country.
In this context, he reaffirmed the importance of building an "effective and proactive" training system, based on accurate and continuously updatable data, capable of keeping pace with economic and technological changes and meeting the needs of the national labor market.
The Minister also expressed the readiness of the energy and renewable energies sector to contribute effectively to the enrichment and updating of the content of this national platform, so as to reflect the actual needs of the sector and strengthen its contribution to the development of the required national skills, the press release concluded.
