The activities of the 20th edition of the National Employment, Training, and Entrepreneurship Salon kicked off on Tuesday at the Moufdi Zakaria Palace of Culture in Algiers. The event saw the participation of over 80 institutions and bodies representing economic enterprises, schools, training centers, business incubators, startups, and support and guidance agencies.

Organized by "3C" for Culture and Communication—a company specializing in event organization—in coordination with the National Agency for the Valorization of the Results of Research and Technological Development (under the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research), this edition falls within a vision aimed at strengthening the bridges between training, the job market, and the world of entrepreneurship and innovation.

The three-day event will feature practical workshops on professional and effective job search techniques, with a particular focus on resume writing and strategies for succeeding in professional job interviews.

According to its organizers, the Salon's program is centered on core themes: "Employment, training, and entrepreneurship, through the organization of seminars and panel discussions led by specialists, in addition to practical workshops to upgrade the skills of young people regarding job search techniques and professional meetings between enterprises. This is alongside a dedicated day to showcase innovative projects and highlight the potential of young entrepreneurs."

During this event, a spotlight will also be cast on the rapid transformations occurring in the labor market, especially regarding artificial intelligence, digital transformation, and the evolution of new professions. As such, the Salon serves as an open space for exchanging experiences, building partnerships, and identifying cooperation opportunities.

The National Employment Agency (ANEM) is participating in this Salon by "dedicating an interactive space to introduce its various services and receive CVs from job seekers, while providing explanations on how to benefit from digital services and various support measures," explained Ms. Souhila Mesbahi, the head of the agency's local branch in Hussein Dey.

For her part, the Director General of the National Agency for the Valorization of the Results of Research and Technological Development, Ines Belil, stated that the Salon will serve to "introduce the agency's missions and services, in addition to honoring the creators of innovative sustainable development projects who participated in the 'Challenge' competition organized by the agency last May."

On his end, the representative of the National Agency for Support and Development of Entrepreneurship (NESDA), Mebarek Guettache, affirmed that the agency's participation aims to "highlight the services of this body and provide clarifications regarding accompaniment and support measures for project owners. It also aims to introduce the techniques and stages of creating micro-enterprises to enter the field of entrepreneurship and contribute to the country's economic development."
