GAZA – At least seven Palestinians were martyred and several others injured at dawn on Thursday following a series of airstrikes carried out by Zionist occupation aircraft on various parts of Gaza City.
Zionist helicopters and warplanes conducted simultaneous raids targeting houses and residential apartments in the neighborhoods of Tal al-Hawa, Sheikh Radwan, the Al-Shati camp, and the Mouchabarat street area in the northwest of the city. The strikes resulted in numerous casualties and sparked fires in several targeted buildings.
The Civil Defense confirmed that five Palestinians, including women and children, were martyred and others injured when an apartment in a building on Mouchabarat street was hit. It noted that fire trapped members of a family, hindering rescue teams from reaching the injured.
Sources added that a man and his wife were martyred, while several other Palestinians were injured, some seriously following another raid that targeted an apartment in the Tal al-Hawa neighborhood, west of the city.
Additionally, six Palestinians were injured in a bombardment of a residential apartment in the Al-Shati camp, while another strike on an apartment in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood, north of the city, resulted in several injuries.
The total death toll from the ongoing Zionist aggression on the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, has risen to 72,945 martyrs and 173,011 injured.
