Algeria will participate as the guest of honor at the International Agriculture and Food Fair (AGRA 2026), to be held from August 22 to 26 in Gornja Radgona, Slovenia, a statement from the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Export Promotion indicated on Sunday evening.
As one of the most important international events specializing in the fields of agriculture and the agri-food industries, this Fair brings together producers, exporters, investors, agricultural equipment manufacturers, and agri-food professionals from various countries, the same source specified.
This event will also serve as a platform to present the latest technologies and innovations relating to forestry and agricultural machinery and equipment, as well as food processing and packaging equipment, with the participation of international companies and brands operating in these fields.
Algeria's participation will offer national companies the opportunity to promote their products, strengthen their trade relations, and explore new prospects for partnership, investment, and export. It will also allow them to learn about the latest technical and professional developments in European and international markets, the statement added.
