The Ministry of Sports has announced the upcoming launch of a digital platform for the census and registration of elite and high-level athletes. The initiative is designed to enable them to benefit from exceptional measures regarding the continuation of their training and their integration into specific professional bodies within the ministry.
In a statement released on Tuesday, the ministry specified that this move is part of the implementation of exceptional provisions established for the benefit of the athletes concerned.
The operation aims to establish a comprehensive and accurate database of elite and high-level athletes, ensuring that their files can be reviewed in accordance with the principles of transparency and equality, and in line with current conditions and criteria.
To this end, the ministry invites the athletes concerned to monitor official announcements regarding the platform's opening date and registration deadlines.
Interested parties are also encouraged to prepare the required supporting documents, notably certificates attesting to their status as elite or high-level athletes, as well as documentation verifying their educational level.
Furthermore, the ministry emphasizes the necessity of providing accurate and complete information during the registration process on the digital platform.
The ministry highlighted that this operation is part of its ongoing efforts to add value to the careers of elite and high-level athletes and to support them both professionally and academically, in recognition of their performances and their contribution to the prestige of national sports.
