Peace Agreement between the United States and Iran to be Signed Friday in Switzerland

The peace memorandum of understanding concluded Monday evening between the United States and Iran is scheduled to be signed Friday at the Bürgenstock in central Switzerland, the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs (FDFA) indicated Tuesday.

"This location was proposed by the Pakistani and Qatari mediators, as well as by the United States and Iran," specified the FDFA's head of communications, Nicolas Bideau.

Switzerland is acting as a facilitator by creating the practical and diplomatic conditions to allow this meeting to take place on its territory.

The official signing of the agreement is scheduled for Friday in Switzerland.
