Algeria expressed, this Thursday, its "strong condemnation" and "deep denunciation" following the terrorist attack that targeted Diori Hamani International Airport in Niamey, the capital of Niger, according to a statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The ministry stated in its communiqué that "in these painful circumstances, Algeria reaffirms its full solidarity with the Nigerien people and government in the face of this heinous attack, which aims to undermine the security and stability of the brotherly Republic of Niger."
Algeria also renewed, the same source added, "its support for the Nigerien authorities in their efforts and fight against terrorism, as well as its commitment to strengthening bilateral and regional cooperation to confront this threat affecting peace and security in our shared space."
