The second phase of the training curriculum for coach educators was launched on Monday at the Regional Technical Center of Tlemcen, as part of the program jointly implemented by the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) and the Algerian Football Federation (FAF), the federal body indicated on its official website.
The opening ceremony was presided over by the head of the FAF Training Department, Mr. Karim Kaced.
This session is a continuation of the curriculum initiated in October 2024, which aims to strengthen the skills of coach educators by relying on the training methodologies and standards recommended by FIFA.
The program for this second phase notably includes an online session led by FIFA expert Giovanni, a practical application and evaluation program, prevention and safeguarding, as well as theoretical and practical sessions.
This training phase will span a period of two months, during which the trainees will be monitored in the field (practical component). The curriculum will conclude with a final evaluation exam, scheduled from September 6 to 9, 2026, under the supervision of FIFA experts.
