The President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, received a congratulatory message from his brother, Dr. Mohamed Younes El-Menfi, President of the Libyan Presidential Council, extending his heartfelt congratulations on the occasion of the 64th anniversary of Independence and the recovery of national sovereignty.
On this occasion, the President of the Libyan Presidential Council affirmed his "readiness to work towards strengthening and developing the historic relations binding Libya and Algeria across various fields, to serve the mutual interests of the two brotherly peoples." He also wished the President of the Republic continued success in his efforts to achieve further progress and prosperity for the Algerian people.
