The President of the Republic of Cape Verde, Mr. José Maria Pereira Neves, has extended his sincere congratulations to the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, and to the Algerian people on the occasion of the 64th anniversary of Independence and the recovery of national sovereignty.
Speaking on behalf of himself and the people of Cape Verde, President José Maria Pereira Neves expressed his "most sincere congratulations on this important historical occasion." He also affirmed his "readiness to continue enhancing and strengthening the ties of brotherhood, cooperation, and solidarity between the two countries, in order to serve the mutual interests of the two friendly peoples."
