The President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, instructed the Minister of Tourism during the Council of Ministers meeting on Sunday to draft a comprehensive and effective action plan focused on developing Algerian tourism and promoting domestic tourism, the Council of Ministers said in a statement.
After listening to a report on the tourist season, "the President of the Republic instructed the Minister of Tourism to draft a comprehensive and effective action plan for the development of Algerian tourism and the promotion of domestic tourism for the benefit of Algerian families, particularly coastal tourism. He emphasized training and specialization in the tourism sector—whether coastal, mountain, or Saharan—noting that Algeria has introduced numerous facilitations in recent years, including the option to obtain a visa directly upon arrival at airports in the southern part of the country without any obstacles," the same source specified.
The President of the Republic also insisted on "the necessity of exploiting all the tourism potential that our country possesses, through coordination and cooperation that help promote the image of Algeria's diversity and civilizational and cultural richness."
