On behalf of the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, Mr. Azouz Nasri, Speaker of the Council of the Nation, headed this Tuesday morning, July 14, 2026, to the State of Qatar to offer his condolences to His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of the State of Qatar, following the passing of his father, Emir Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani.
Mr. Azouz Nasri is accompanied by Mr. Said Sayoud, Minister of the Interior, Local Authorities and Transport, Major General Mohamed Salah Benbicha, Secretary General of the Ministry of National Defence, alongside Professor Makhlouf Sahel, Chief of Staff to the President of the Council of the Nation, and Mr. Ihsane Naouk, Acting Director of the Levant and Arab League Countries at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad.
