Level-3 Heatwave Alert Issued for Several Northern Wilayas this Friday and Saturday

In a special weather bulletin issued this Thursday, the National Office of Meteorology (ONM) has warned of a Level-3 (red alert) heatwave affecting several northern wilayas on Friday and Saturday, with temperatures expected to reach or exceed 48°C.

According to the bulletin, this Level-3 red alert will concern the provinces of Relizane, Chlef, Aïn Defla, Skikda, Annaba, El Tarf, and Guelma, where temperatures are forecast to hit or surpass 48°C locally. 

The bulletin is valid tomorrow, Friday, from 09:00 to 18:00, and on Saturday from 09:00 to 18:00.
