The Minister Delegate to the Minister of National Defense, Chief of Staff of the People's National Army (PNA), General of the Army Saïd Chanegriha, presided on Tuesday at the headquarters of the Ministry of National Defense over a ceremony honoring the Cadets of the Nation who graduated in the baccalaureate session of 2026, the ministry said in a statement.
The event was attended by the Lieutenant General Commander of the Land Forces, the Secretary General of the Ministry of National Defense, the Commanders of the Forces, the National Gendarmerie, and the Republican Guard, the Chiefs of Departments of the Ministry of National Defense and the Staff of the People's National Army, Directors and Chiefs of central services, as well as the parents of the award-winning students, the same source specified.
On this occasion, General of the Army Chanegriha delivered a speech in which he conveyed the congratulations of the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, to the graduating female and male cadets for the excellent results achieved by the Cadets of the Nation schools during this session.
The General of the Army also extended his "warmest and most sincere congratulations to the cadets for their remarkable success."
"On the occasion of this ceremony organized in your honor, female and male Cadets of the Nation who have successfully passed the baccalaureate exam for the 2026 session, it is a pleasure for me to convey to you the congratulations of Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, President of the Republic, Supreme Chief of the Armed Forces, Minister of National Defense, who wishes you further success and accomplishments in your academic and professional paths," he said.
"I, in turn, wish to extend to you, as well as to your classmates who succeeded in obtaining this diploma, my warmest congratulations for this remarkable achievement," he added.
The General of the Army highlighted "the remarkable results obtained by the female Cadets of the Nation who, as in previous years, achieved a 100% pass rate, thereby reaffirming their unwavering determination to succeed and excel."
He also stressed that "the training and qualification of talents and elites constitute one of the state's priorities, as they prepare highly qualified cadres imbued with a state culture and love of the homeland, capable of fully assuming the responsibility of continuing the process of national construction and development."

"Aware of the crucial importance of this mission, the High Command of the People's National Army is committed to training a high-level military elite, particularly within the Cadets of the Nation schools, which open their doors every year to the children of our brave people from all social backgrounds and classes, relying solely on the principle of equal opportunity during the entrance examination and ensuring that the required conditions are met, such as the minimum average in the school certificate and physical and psychological aptitudes," he continued.
"The High Command has spared no effort to successfully carry out this mission within these schools, which serve as a true breeding ground for training men and women, both through the adoption of advanced scientific and pedagogical methods and the provision of modern educational infrastructure and high-level scientific and military guidance. The goal is to prepare the cadets to assume the highest responsibilities and roles within our Armed Forces," he insisted.
Subsequently, he presented awards to the graduating female and male cadets.
At the end of the ceremony, two cadets delivered speeches on behalf of their peers, before the General of the Army took a souvenir photo with the honored cadets, the statement concluded.
