The President of the Republic of Algeria, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, affirmed that Algerian-German partnership relations have reached a level of excellence.

This came during his periodic interview with representatives of the national media, which was broadcast on Monday evening across national television and radio channels.

The President highlighted the projects currently being launched in numerous fields.

The President stated that the agreements recently signed with Germany have propelled the partnership between the two countries into a stage of excellence.

He emphasized that the Algerian-German partnership is centered on technology transfer.

In this context, he pointed to the "Opel" project for the local manufacturing of automotive engines.

"This allows Algeria to effectively enter the field of precision mechanical engineering by relying on applied sciences tailored for industry," he continued.

President Tebboune noted that these developments align with the specific characteristics of the national economy.

Regarding the energy sector, the President explained that Algeria aims to become Germany's "main supplier" of green hydrogen through a pipeline passing through Austria.

He also mentioned that studies are underway regarding the possibility of allocating vast land areas to establish solar power plants and transport the generated electricity to Europe via Italy.

Furthermore, the President added that fields of cooperation also extend to the pharmaceutical industry, with Germany agreeing to grant Algeria four advanced pharmaceutical molecules.

The President noted that this step will allow Algeria to manufacture effective medications, particularly for cancer treatment.

He stressed that this project would not have been possible "were it not for the great trust that characterizes relations between the two countries."
