The Minister of Industry, Yahia Bachir, presided over the launch ceremony of a digital platform dedicated to tracking recovered assets on Monday in Algiers. The event took place in the presence of focal points and representatives from the concerned sectors, according to a statement from the ministry.
This initiative is part of the implementation of directives from the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, aimed at modernizing public administration, strengthening digitization, and promoting transparency. It also seeks to improve monitoring and coordination mechanisms between the various sectors involved in the management of recovered assets.
In this regard, the head of the General Inspectorate of the Ministry of Industry has been tasked with overseeing the activation of this platform. The goal is to "ensure the unification of processing rules, the optimal use of the digital platform, and the precise, real-time monitoring of the status of recovered assets," the statement specified.
The Minister of Industry reaffirmed "the ministry's constant commitment to embedding good governance and supporting digital transformation as a strategic choice for improving public performance," according to the same source.
