Algeria Ranks First in Number of Activities During Global Entrepreneurship Week 2025

Algeria has ranked first globally in terms of the number of activities organized during the 17th edition of Global Entrepreneurship Week 2025, as announced by the Global Entrepreneurship Network (GEN), according to a statement by the Ministry of Knowledge Economy, Start-ups, and Micro-enterprises.

The Ministry's statement indicated that this distinction was achieved during "Algeria's participation in Global Entrepreneurship Week. This edition was organized under the high patronage of the Prime Minister and witnessed extensive participation involving various actors in the national entrepreneurial ecosystem, ranging from ministerial sectors and support bodies to startups, micro-enterprises, and both national and international partners."

The statement added that this edition served as "a strong indicator of national mobilization, reflecting the growing interest in entrepreneurship and embodying its slogan 'Together, We Build'."
