The International Pharmacy Salon (SIPHAL) will hold its 20th edition from February 4 to 7 at the Palais des Expositions in Algiers, with the participation of over 150 exhibitors representing various branches of the pharmaceutical industry, according to a statement released by the organizers on Tuesday.
Organized under the theme "The Pharmacy of Tomorrow" under the patronage of the Minister of Health, the event will bring together medicine producers, distributors, and importers, as well as health institutions and professional organizations, according to the statement. It noted that more than 11,000 visitors are expected, including professionals and experts from the health and pharmacy sectors, hospital establishments, and the pharmaceutical industry, alongside students.
On the sidelines of the Salon, study days will be organized featuring presentations addressing the new transformations undergoing the pharmacy sector in Algeria, particularly in the fields of technology, the impact of artificial intelligence and digital transformation, comprehensive care, ensuring accessible health coverage for all, and preventive and curative healthcare.
According to the organizers, the event will also see the launch of media spaces aimed at gathering testimonials and impressions from exhibitors and visitors via a podcast. This will serve as a platform for constructive discussion and dialogue to contribute to continuous training and the exchange of ideas, the statement added.
