Western Mining Railway Line: Ministerial Delegation Arrives in Tindouf

A ministerial delegation arrived in Tindouf on Saturday to oversee the inauguration of the railway station in the main town of the wilaya and to signal the departure of the first passenger train bound for the wilaya of Béchar. The journey will take place via the Western Mining Railway Line (Béchar-Beni Abbès-Tindouf-Gara Djebilet), which spans a distance of 950 km.

The ministerial delegation includes Minister of State and Minister of Hydrocarbons and Mines, Mohamed Arkab; Minister of Interior, Local Assemblies and Transport, Saïd Sayoud; Minister of Public Works and Basic Infrastructure, Abdelkader Djelaoui; and the Secretary of State to the Minister of Hydrocarbons and Mines, in charge of Mines, Karima Bakir-Tafer.
