The President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, confirmed that the western mining line Gara Djebilet - Tindouf - Bechar is a grand national project aiming at the exploitation of the mining riches that the country abounds with.

The President of the Republic clarified, during the periodic meeting with the representatives of the national media, broadcast this Saturday evening on national television and radio channels, that the Gara Djebilet - Tindouf - Bechar railway line "is nothing but the mere beginning of a grand national project aiming at the exploitation of the mining riches that the country abounds with," and it represents "the first step the country takes to become an emerging state".

In this context, the President of the Republic expressed his immense pride in the materialization of this mining line, which "was achieved with national capacities and in record time," which field-confirmed the saying that Algeria is the "land of miracles," despite—as he said—the "attempts to cast doubt on the national building process".
The President added that the materialization of this project proved that "the men of Algeria are still standing, despite the bowing of many".
