Seventh goal in Croatia for Moncef Bekrar this season

Algerian international striker Monsef Bakrar scored his seventh goal of the season today, Sunday, with his club Dinamo Zagreb of Croatia.

During the 23rd round of the Croatian Football Championship, Bakrar contributed to Dinamo's big victory on the field of Varaždin (4–0).

Bakrar (25 years old) scored at the 51st minute, joining the list of the top ten scorers in the Croatian championship.

While the absence of international midfielder Ismaël Bennacer continues due to injury, Bakrar is considered Dinamo's second-highest scorer behind Dion Beljo (12 goals).

Dinamo Zagreb leads the championship (51 points), eight points ahead of its direct pursuer Hajduk Split (43 points with a game in hand).

Bakrar participated in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, where he came on as a substitute against Equatorial Guinea (3–1) at the conclusion of the group stage.
