Attaf Holds Phone Call with Azerbaijani Counterpart

The Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad, and African Affairs, Mr. Ahmed Attaf, held a phone call this morning with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Mr. Jeyhun Bayramov.

The discussions between the two ministers focused on the latest developments in the Middle East and the Arabian Gulf. Both parties emphasized the importance of intensifying efforts to prioritize peaceful and diplomatic solutions, aimed at reducing tensions and creating suitable conditions for the resumption of negotiations. In the same context, the Minister of State expressed Algeria's sympathy and solidarity with the Republic of Azerbaijan following the impact of the military escalation currently affecting the entire region.
