The 8th edition of the International Investment Exhibition for Industry, Energy, Construction, Public Works, Logistics, and Exports, "Algeria Invest Expo," will be organized from March 26 to 29 at the Mohamed Benahmed Convention Center in Oran, organizers announced in a statement this Tuesday.

This exhibition includes two main events aimed at enhancing interaction among economic operators: "Industry Expo" and "Africa Build Expo," according to the organizers' statement, which noted that overall participation exceeds 150 Algerian and foreign economic operators. The "Industry Expo," dedicated to industry, energy, logistics, and exports, will see the participation of more than 30 public industrial groups, in addition to private and foreign companies. Meanwhile, "Africa Build Expo," an African event dedicated to construction, infrastructure, and modern technologies, will feature the participation of active institutions involved in developing these sectors in Algeria and across the continent, according to the same statement.

During this edition, a competition will be held to honor the best projects with outstanding economic, social, and environmental impact, alongside innovative and export-oriented projects. The winning projects will be selected by a jury of specialized experts based on criteria of performance, innovation, and direct impact. The event will also feature a scientific program comprising conferences, seminars, and panel discussions on topics related to boosting the national economy's performance and "exploring ways to build a productive and diversified economy based on value creation and sustainable development," the statement added.

The event will also allocate exhibition spaces for startups, scientific clubs, and innovative project holders. This initiative aims to enable them to communicate directly with economic actors and showcase their projects under the slogan, "Innovation and Youth Contribution at the Heart of Knowledge-Based Economic Development." Organizers expect significant international participation in the exhibition, as "business delegations from more than 20 countries have expressed their desire to visit the exhibition and hold professional meetings with exhibitors." Employers' organizations and scientific research centers will also participate in the event to help enrich the program and guide economic operators.
