Religious Affairs: The Algeria Prize for the Recitation of the Holy Quran and the Revival of Islamic Heritage From March 12 to 16

The Ministry of Religious Affairs and Wakfs announced in a statement on Wednesday the organization of the Algeria Prize for the Recitation of the Holy Quran and the Revival of Islamic Heritage, scheduled from March 12 to 16.

Organized by the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Wakfs, under the high patronage of the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, this Prize features "the 6th edition of the national competition for the recitation, psalmody, and exegesis of the Holy Quran, and the 22nd edition of the encouragement competition for young reciters of the Holy Quran," the statement detailed.

This event will take place from Ramadan 22 to 26, 1447 (March 12-16, 2026) and will conclude with an official ceremony organized on the occasion of Laylat Al-Qadr (the Night of Decree) at Djamaâ El-Djazaïr, the same source added.
